Exhibited works
Gran Error (Big Mistake), 1998-2005. 1st | B | The work is based on a black square (1 m2), which is painted directly on a wall. As a symbol of pure modernist abstraction, this form refers to the radically reduced historical monochrome painting. However, Aballí painted over the black square with Tipp-Ex correction fluid, thus making it practically invisible – turning it into a geometric ghost.
Personas (People), 2000-2012. 1st | B | The work consists of nothing more than footprints on the exhibition walls that had been caused by visitors leaning carelessly against them.
Correcció (Correction), 2001. 1st | B | The surface of a mirror is painted with a layer of Tipp-Ex correction fluid. While producing this piece, the artist's image slowly disappeared.
Tomar medidas (Measurement Devices), 2009. 1st | B | This piece consists of a series of measurement devices on eight sockets (a stopwatch, a thermometer-hydrometer, a light meter, a compass, an anemometer, a barometer, a sound level meter, and an electromagnetic beam diameter), which are commonly used to measure invisible phenomena.

Vitrines for a vitrine, 2009. 1st | B | The work consists of showing objects that are also used for showing objects. Three clear vitrines of different dimensions – the type used in museums and department stores – are themselves exhibited in a glass vitrine. Each of them contains an image of an empty vitrine.
Demostrar (Nada) 2010. 1st | B | Demonstrating (Nothing) – The work consists of enlargements of gestures found in images from newspapers. But the gestures do not aid in understanding what is being communicated. They rather have a puzzling effect, as they seem to point to something, but the viewer cannot see what they are pointing at.
