Décor, 2006. 1st | A | For the exhibition at The Institute of Contemporary Arts in London (ICA), Wyn Evans removed the wall that separated the gallery from the outside world. The removal of the outer wall exposed the windows through which the passers-by could then look into in the gallery, and vice versa: gallery visitors could observe the street scene. In the gallery space itself, there was nothing to see – it remained empty.
